I seem to spend a lot of time lately in You Tube, and recently I found a guitar player that I have not been watching for a while, and came across Jeff beck, who in my opinion qualifies as one of the guitar playing greats.
My strongest memory of him is from his “High Ho Silver Lining” days, which I always thought had a great lead break, and I eventually learned to play it quite well, but no as good as Jeff Beck.
He seems to have changed his preference in music as well, and he’s got a style of playing that I have not seen anyone else using which I think is great.
Not only does he use his whammy bar a lot, but he also uses his volume and tone controls to make the unique sounds that he gets out of his guitar.
His choice of musicians for his band, which are all excellent in their own right, and the girl bass player is brilliant, her name is Tal Wilkenfeld (hope I spelt that right) watch out for her in one of the video’s below.
I found a good article on Jeff Beck with a lot of interesting background on him in Wikipedia, so if you want to read more about him here’s the link to it GuitarPlaying Greats Jeff Beck.
Here’s a couple of video’s that I think you will like.

When I first decided to put this site together it was my intention to write a review of the different Guitar Lessons that are available here, however on reflection I think that it would be unfair to both you and to the companies advertised on these pages, as they are all good in their different way´s.
As the saying goes, one mans meat is another mans poison, so I have decided to give you as much information as I can, so that you can decide for yourself.
Most of these companies offer FREE sample lessons, so I suggest that you click on the different adverts and sign up for them, and test them yourself, and then purchase whichever one suits your requirements.
I would be very pleased to hear from you, about how you are getting on with the lessons, and also for you to let other people know what you think about them.
You can do this by leaving a comment on my blog, or perhaps you may want to write your own review of a product, which I would be pleased to publish for you, and give you the credit for it. You can do this by contacting me via the contact me here or the tab at the top of each page.
The video´s that you see on this Blog and on YouTube are only there to give you a taste of what the different advertisers have to offer, they are not designed to be used as lessons, they don´t complete the courses, as the advertisers would like you to purchase their products. Most of the companies offer a free sample of their products and I recommend that you take them up on their offer and try several of them, to see which you like the best.
I wish lessons like the ones you can purchase on this site were available when I was learning guitar, I would have saved a fortune, and a lot of time.
They are all good in their own ways, and I promise you that you will learn fast with them, even if you have fingers like a Gorilla and have never played a note before. They also have a totally risk freeguarantee, so if you don´t like them you have absolutely nothing to lose, you will get your money back.
Now you have no excuse for fulfill your dream of playing guitar like a professional, take a look around the different banner ads, and sign up for the free lessons TODAY!
Finally and most important of all, is take action and try some of the programs out, remember action=Results, no action= Absolutely nothing.
I have put together some video´s from JamPlay, you can scroll through them and watch the one that you want to. Unfortunately the video´s were a little too big for my site, so I have had to reduce them in size to make them fit, so they are not as good as the ones that you will get from them.
These are fairly basic lessons, but JamPlay also have Advanced lessons for the more experienced players, with guitar playing you never stop learning. View GuitarJamz Review Here

This Is A Guest Post By “Daniel Offer” Warning: the following finger exercises are not especially musical. They are examples of somewhat extreme exercises that possess an abundance of chromaticism. The second and third exercises do have a little more musicality than the first, but they are also more challenging to perform. What all three [...]
This is a guest post by “Daniel Offer” Let’s face it, finger tapping on the guitar can get pretty darn tiresome after awhile. Especially if you perform the Van Halen-style triplets that have been played a billion times (don’t get me wrong, I love Eddie’s playing, he was the reason I began learning guitar in [...]
